Bryon McCartney is the Chief Creative Strategist at ArchMark, a branding and marketing firm dedicated to helping architects and design industry professionals gain recognition in the market so they can attract their ideal clients. ArchMark, led by Bryon and his wife, specialises in architecture websites. So much so, they’ve reviewed more than 550 architecture firm websites to find out what works, and what doesn’t. Byron is also the co-founder behind the Architect’s Success Forum, a five-day online event for architects interested in growing and improving their firms through branding, communications, marketing, social media, and more.

In this sixth episode of Archibiz Unpacks Marketing, Archibiz CEO Bec Kempster sits down with Bryon to learn more about architecture firm websites and how architects can improve their sites. You’ll learn Bryon’s “5 Stages of Architecture Practices,” as well as the “Three Rs” you need to be successful: Recognition, Reputation and Relationship.

You’ll also hear Bryon offer tools and strategies to elevate your practice’s marketing. Plus, he breaks down his “expertise engine” and the three buckets that you should focus on if you want to become an expert in your niche. Finally, Bec and Bryon discuss some tips for solo practitioners who struggle to find the time to work on their marketing.
